I always try and be mindful of the current plight of our amazing native Wildlife. Whether in my garden at home or my log yard it’s important to provide as much habitat as you can for our struggling Wildlife. In the yard I’ve planted hedges, put up bird boxes (although they usually decide to nest in machinery 😀) and have made many log stacks around the edges of the yard. And look at the results…slow worms, Common lizards, swifts, song birds, stoats plus many more…its amazing what you can attract just by adding a bit of Wildlife friendly habitat to your outdoor space.
